Letterhead and Envelope Project:

Objectives
The assignment in this historical sequence will provide you with many opportunities to learn about and reflect upon the proper use of visual elements and principles for a given assignment. Because many of our design conventions in the graphic arts arose within the context of book design, completing this assignment will help to ground you in many principles of effective design. A benefit to this assignment is that it is a practical application, like a good deal of the work you will be called upon to perform in your career.
